Phill Gross is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Adage Capital Management, a money management firm based in Boston. He is also responsible for managing the healthcare portfolios at Adage. Gross has followed the healthcare therapeutics industry for over 36 years. Prior to founding Adage in 2001, he was a Healthcare and Retail Analyst, Equity Research Director, and Partner at the Harvard Management Company. In the area of philanthropy, Gross is a Founder and Treasurer of Strategic Grant Partners, a consortium of family foundations advocating for systemic change in the areas of education and family services in Massachusetts.
