Margaret (Peg) Horn

Margaret (Peg) Horn, J.D. has served as our Chief Operating Officer since October 2018 and oversees corporate development, legal affairs, information sciences and facilities. She previously served as our General Counsel from December 2014 to September 2022 and as our Executive Vice President from December 2014 to October 2018.

With over 30 years of leadership experience in the biotechnology industry, Peg has played pivotal roles in various organizations.  Prior to joining Revolution Medicines, Peg served as Chief Operating Officer at ProLynx LLC from 2010 to December 2014, and before that, as Senior Vice President, Legal and Corporate Development at Kosan Biosciences, Inc. and as a Senior Vice President, Legal at Genencor International, Inc. Throughout her extensive career, Peg’s expertise has spanned international strategic transactions, global litigation, and numerous public and private financings. Her evolution from legal counsel to strategic business and operational leadership positions underscores her multifaceted contributions to the industry.

Peg has served on the board of directors of Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGMO), a biotechnology company, since December 2022.

Peg received a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, a J.D. from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and an executive MBA from the Pennsylvania State University.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania and California bars and is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. She is also a registered pharmacist in Pennsylvania.
