Professor Astrid Söderbergh Widding is Chair of the Nobel Foundation since 2023 and Executive Director of Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation (MMW) and Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Foundation (MAW) since 2025. She was President of Stockholm University between 2013 and 2025. She is a fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities, and the Academia Europaea.
