Mark is one of the most senior bankers at UBS Investment Bank in London with over 30 years’ experience at the firm. He is Vice Chairman of Investment Banking EMEA and for many years was Global Head of TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunication) Investment Banking. Mark has been an external member of the Council of the University of Cambridge since 2013 and is currently Deputy Chair of Council. Mark is a graduate of Christ’s College, Cambridge and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse. Lewisohn, one of the bank’s most prominent dealmakers in the City who helped shape a number of high-profile mega-deals during a three-decade career, was latterly vice-chair of investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Lewisohn helped steer one of the biggest deals in UK corporate history, working on the $130bn sale of Vodafone’s stake in Verizon Communications in 2013. He came close to leaving UBS in 2006, Financial News reported at the time. Mark read History at Christ’s College, Cambridge, and currently serves as Deputy Chair of Council at the University of Cambridge. Mark is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Historical Research.
