Dr. Abad-Franch was appointed Senior Vice President, Head of Research, Development and Medical Affairs, and Chief Medical Officer at Sobi. Before joining Sobi in 2020, she was Sr Medical Director Global Medical Affairs at Shire/Takeda. Prior, she held the position of Medical Director Global Medical Affairs at Shire/Baxalta and Associate Medical Director at Baxter EMEA. Prio, she was the Global Medical Advisor, Haemophilia at Novo Nordisk.

She holds an M.D. from the School of Medicine at the University of Valencia, Spain, and an MBA from the University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain.
